Columbia, in the center of South Carolina, is a short drive to Charlotte and only a few hours to Atlanta. Major cities up north – including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C.,  Philadelphia and New York – are but a day's drive away. Similar drives south will take you to Savannah, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and South Florida. This central location also makes Columbia an easy day trip – or weekend getaway – to the cool beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the northwest and the Atlantic coast to the south and east, including Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head Island and historical Charleston, SC.

“Rush Minute” Traffic

Woodcreek Farms is conveniently located. Despite the secluded nature, the neighborhood is just off Clemson Road, a recently completed four-lane connector between Interstates 20 and 77. Access to nearby I-20 is particularly easy off adjacent Spears Creek Church Road. From there, the rest of the city is a short drive away. “Traffic” is relative. While in a fast-growing part of Columbia, traffic in Northeast Columbia, and particularly around Woodcreek Farms, is light compared with the nation's big metro areas.  In fact, some newcomers call it “rush minute” instead of rush hour.
